THE ITALIAN AGRO-FOOD RESEARCH NETWORK FOR THE COMPETITIVENESS AND SUSTAINABILITY OF COMPANIES AND SUPPLY CHAINS

On 5 May, the agreement among the National Agrifood Technology Cluster CL.A.N., the leading players of the national agrifood initiatives financed under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (National Research Centre AGRITECH, Extended Partnership ONFOODS, Research Infrastructures METROFOOD-IT and MIRRI. IT) and the Euro-Mediterranean initiatives (Italian PRIMA Secretariat) will be launched at Tuttofood Milan. The ambition is to establish a Network for Research, Innovation and Technology Transfer (ReRITT) that will connect universities and research centers to the companies represented by CL.A.N, bringing together supply and demand for innovation for the sustainability and competitiveness of the agrifood sector. Institutions, scientific experts and companies will talk about the reasons that led to the signing of the agreement, highlighting its expected positive effects in a particularly critical historical conjuncture in the field of international trade relations.
